Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa

The staff in the lobby were absolutely fantastic. Service at both breakfast and the bar were very friendly and served good food and beverages. The coffee place next to the elevators offers a good option to grab something for the road. Location is great, downtown Stamford - restaurants and bars are a few minutes walk away.

Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel was clean and had a heated pool. It had a well-equipped gym. They even had guest laundry facilities which was very helpful for solo travelers like me who pack light. The location was awesome. It was close to the train station and to downtown Stamford. There was even a spa and a transport agency within hotel premises. They also had free tourist brochures of various US spots.

Starbucks Cafe was opened at 6am which was convenient for my husband. Woman who worked/owned the cafe was upbeat and friendly. Desk staff was pleasant, helpful. Room seemed as clean as the housekeeping staff could make it. (See next comment.)

Very polite staff. Had a comfy and CLEAN bedroom on the 14th floor. All amenities worked and hallways were pleasantly quiet at night - very satisfied.
